Globular and cephalium-bearing cacti of Eastern Brazil

In our special issue on eastern Brazil, Marlon Machado provided an overview of the globular cacti seen on the CSSA field trip on a stop-by stop, day-by-day itinerary. This article appears in two parts (CSJ 81–4 and 81–4), and is replete with all the most collectible cacti Brazil has to offer. Here are some of the amazing plants seen on this trip. Marlon's article goes into more detail for each species, and here we show some images that could not fit in the Journal.
